Course Overview
During this class, students learn how to deploy VMware® on HPE Synergy using HPE OneView for VMware vCenter Server®. Students configure 2-node vSAN clusters with witness node and implement VMware clustering and replication. Students also use the storage integration plugin to configure vVols on HPE Primera, and to configure and test HPE Peer Persistence.
Who should attend
The audience for this course is technical personnel responsible for:
- VMware deployment on HPE Synergy platform with HPE Primera as the main storage
- HPE Synergy configuration as a part of preparation for VMware deployment
- Integration of VMware with HPE plug-ins
Prerequisites
Students are expected to have working knowledge related to the following technologies::
- • HPE Synergy management using HPE OneView
- • VMware foundation technologies
- • HPE Primera management using SSMC and HPE OneView
