Course Overview
This course teaches how to plan and design HPE compute solutions based on industry standard computing technologies and workloads. Hands-on lab activities guide you through exercises exploring HPE Synergy components, managing HPE OneView server profiles and HPE ProLiant servers, as well as working with HPE Superdome Flex and HPE Superdome Flex 280. You learn to recommend and position HPE compute products, solutions, and appropriate services for customer use cases and workloads.

The ideal candidate for this course is someone who needs to learn how to describe, position, recommend, and demonstrate HPE compute solutions to meet a customer’s business and technology requirements. Typical candidates are sales and technical consultants, sales, systems and pre-sales engineers
Prerequisites
HPE recommends the training required for:
- HPE ATP – Hybrid IT Solutions v2
- certification as a pre-requisite to this course.

- Explain and position the HPE compute product portfolio
- Describe HPE Synergy components
- Work with server profile templates and server profiles
- Explain storage management using HPE OneView
- Describe HPE management solutions
- Describe vSAN setup for ROBO and vVols
- Identify troubleshooting methods and tools
- Work with a HPE Superdome Flex
Course Content
This course covers a wide range of HPE compute solutions including:
- Full coverage of HPE Synergy platform including HPE OneView
- Introduction to HPE Primera in the compute context (for example, boot from SAN)
- Introduction of HPE Superdome Flex and HPE Superdome Flex 280 technologies
- Automation with PowerShell scripting
- Full integration of HPE OneView for VMware vCenter Server® and HPE Storage Integration Pack for VMware vCenter®
- Basics of virtualization with HPE OneView integration
